He’s a very smart colt who stays further than this and he won when we made plenty of use of him at Kempton on his second start so we’ll probably employ similar tactics here and hopefully the blinkers will help over this shorter trip. He’s got a good draw and I fancy him.

The trip is probably on the short side but there looks to be plenty of pace and while he’s definitely in the handicapper’s grip, he’s been very consistent and has been in good form at home. He likes this track and he’ll sit pretty handy.

At Chelmsford, Flinstone would have a great chance in the mile Handicap at 5:00. His first run would sharpened him up and he goes there with a favourite’s chance.
