Houstonn (Hollie Doyle)
We tried a mile and a half a couple of times, but it looks as though 10 furlongs is his optimum so he’s back down in trip today and hopefully the ground won’t be too soft. He’s got a lot of talent when he puts it all in and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him run a nice race.

Stem (Ryan Moore)
He’s a colt we like a lot and his work has been very pleasing. Ryan Moore is booked and I’m expecting a decent show, but he won’t run if the ground is too soft.

One More (Ryan Moore)
He ran a solid race at Kempton on debut and I’d expect him to improve again for it. I don’t think this is the greatest race and he goes there with a good shout.

Sedgemoor (Alex Voikhansky)
He won well on Handicap debut at Haydock and the assessor has taken no chances and put him up 8lbs. This is a rise in grade, and he has to show he’s up to, but I was impressed with his attitude last time and he might still be on the upgrade.

Persica (Sean Levey)
It was a muddling race at Windsor so I’m happy to forgive him that because his form all season has been very good and he’s quite versatile ground-wise. He’s a ‘sensitive’ horse, so needs to be treated with kid gloves, but is very talented and this is his trip.

Aramram (Sean Levey)
He won the valuable Apprentice race at Doncaster last week and doesn’t mind soft ground. He’s drawn right down the middle of the track, which could be a good place to be, and he has a great each way shout.
