Versatility
He ran a bit better than it appears at Sandown last time, his first start back after a wind op on going that was probably a touch too deep for him. This better ground won’t be any problem whatsoever for him judged on his win for me on good at Ludlow earlier in the season and he ran well off just a 2lb lower mark than this when second at Newbury on his following outing. Trip and ground look ideal here then, and I can see him bouncing back to form. If he does, he has a very fair chance.

Colonial Dreams
He hasn’t really got it all together after his Sandown win for me a couple of years ago but there was definitely a lot more spark about him last time when he was third at Newbury. A mark of 133 looks pretty workable on that Sandown win and he wants this decent ground. I expect a bold run in what is obviously a very competitive handicap.
