Sam will have to try and coax him along and be as cool as a cucumber because he doesn’t find a great deal off the bridle and we’re keeping the blinkers on to help him concentrate. He jumps well and is in good form at home so if he can get a nice lead right until after the last fence he should go close.

He’s a very, very nice horse and I like him a lot. We’re throwing him in at the deep end but he won’t be miles away and I hope he’s up to it.
