Electric Ladyland
There is nothing like a wide draw at Chester to take the wind right out of your sails, so to hear that Electric Ladyland was given 10 of 11 here was certainly a touch deflating. But that outside stall has been overcome in this race before, so you just have to get on with it and hope that you are one of the chosen few who get the breaks around this track. There is little doubt in my mind that Electric Ladyland has the talent to go very close here, and is probably the form choice going into the race, and her early speed will give her every chance of getting into a decent position. She broke the juvenile track record when winning at Lingfield on her debut ad she was drawn six of six when following up under a penalty at Kempton last time. I see no reason why she shouldn’t be as effective on turf, and hopefully a smart break and luck in running thereafter can enable her to show what she is made of.
