I WAS thrilled with Supsasundae at Punchestown yesterday. He was nearly last before the last, but he stayed on to finish second behind Buveur D’air. It was a terrific effort and he rarely runs a bad race and he’ll be back to do more of the same next season.  He has won eight races for us, including 3 Grade 1’s and he is a real stable favourite and we are delighted to have him.

Walk To Freedom (Robert Power)

I was delighted with his first run back over fences at Fairyhouse. He has come out of that race in great form and the small field will suit him. He likes to be held up and arrive late and it’s surprising for a valuable handicap chase, that there aren’t more runners. The good ground will be fine for him and I am hopeful that he’ll run a big race.

Jezki (Conor Orr)

He has been a great servant and he wasn’t beaten far in a valuable handicap hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival on nice ground in February. I was pleased with him at Fairyhouse and we have booked Conor Orr to take 5bs off his back. They usually go a very strong gallop in this and that will suit him. You’ll need a lot of luck in running and if he gets that, I hope he runs a very big race.

Woodland Opera (Robert Power)

He seems to be in very good form and we’ve gone for this race instead of a chase, as he races off a lower hurdle mark, so he could be well enough treated. This looks a hell of a good race, but we know that he likes it around Punchestown and he was Grade 1 placed over fences last season. He will appreciate the nice ground and we’ll give it a go and see how he gets on.

Silver Sheen (Finny Maguire)

He’s a nice horse and this is a suitable place to get him started. He has a nice bit done and I’d like to think that he will improve for this. It’s a race full of newcomers, so it’s impossible to get a handle on anything form wise in the race. It’s always a good race and long term, I view him more a staying hurdler/chaser.
