It looks like we will get decent ground at Kempton and that will suit him. He didn’t run up to his best at Warwick last time but he is 5lb lower over hurdles than fences and he goes well around here. He has a decent chance.

3.15pm Kempton

Pistol Whipped

We wanted to run him at Cheltenham on Thursday but the ground went against him, so we decided to come here instead. He will like the expected going and he is a good horse on his day. He hasn’t raced since November and holds no secrets from the handicapper, but he has gone well fresh in the past.

4.25pm Kempton

Balkeo

He has placed form in France and hopefully he will come forward a fair bit for his debut at Sandown last time. He obviously has his chance getting weight from the winners.

5.00pm Kempton

Peace Of Rome

He is related to a couple of Flat winners, and he goes nicely. But you never know what you will bump into in these races.
