Hockey stream and betting tips

Blues vs Bruins – Stanley Cup Final (May 27-June 13)

Bruins take first game

Boston Bruins came from two goals down to beat St Louis Blues 4-2 in Game One of the Stanley Cup Final. And the win saw the Bruins’ title odds plummet in the Unibet sportsbook. There were nerves at 0-2 but once the victory was secured Boston came in as the 1.33 favourite to secure the series win.

Now, Boston have home advantage over the seven-game series and that counts a lot in American sports. But what was most pertinent about the win on Monday night was the way the Bruins came back.

The Blues looked comfortable in the opening throes of the game and deservedly led 2-0 before the fightback came. This game was much closer than the scoreline suggests — and that should be taken into account when betting on the rest of the series and watching the hockey live stream.

Game Two (May 30) betting

We stay in the TD Garden for Game Two, with Boston hosting this fixture and hoping to eke out a 2-0 series lead before heading to St Louis. But if the Blues can pinch a win here then they will take command of this series.

And plenty of ice hockey live stream and betting fans are backing St Louis to claim victory in Game Two. Remember, the Bruins made it look easy in the early stages of Game One and were arguably unlucky not to get the win. After all, Brayden Schenn managed six shots on goal but was denied all but once by an exceptional goalie in Tuukka Rask.

St Louis at 3.10 to win Game Two is a very tempting price.

Rask the man

Amazingly, Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask stopped 18 shots during a frenetic Game One. And his performance in Game Two could well settle the outcome here. Rask is well in with a shout of winning the Conn Smythe Trophy (MVP) at the end of this series if his performances hold up.

Indeed, defensively the Bruins were exposed on Monday night but Rask came to the rescue.

Back more stellar performances from the Finnish goalie before the series is out.
