Golden State favourites to win
It’s not a surprise to anyone that Golden State have reached yet another NBA Finals series. They are the dominant force in club basketball, with a superstar team possessing unrivalled confidence. in their ability.

Golden State have won the NBA Championship six times — three of which have come since 2015. Having seen Cleveland Cavalier (their closest rivals over the last five years) fall away this season, Golden State have had little challengers to their status as the best in the business.
And that is why you can bet on Golden State Warriors at 1.35 to win the NBA Finals for 2019.
Is backing Raptors worth it?
So can the Toronto Raptors claim anything from this series? Well, punters are certainly being tempted by their price of 3.25 to win the 2019 NBA Championship. While Golden State have a wealth of superstar talent to turn to in their roster, much of Toronto’s faith rests on one man.

Kawhi Leonard has been a sensation for the Raptors this season, averaging a staggering 31.2 points per game during 2018/19. To put that into context, Steph Curry is Golden State’s lead PPG scorer with 27.3.
Leonard cannot do this all on his own, however, and this is where the Raptors may well fall short. Not only are they coming up against the best offensive team in the business, but their own attack lacks consistent quality.
Golden State averaged 117.7 points per game during the regular season. Toronto managed just 114.4 PPG. Not a huge step down but enough of a gap when up against the Warriors to lose a seven-game series.
MVP battle
The battle for MVP almost certainly comes down to the two main players on court: Leonard or Curry.

Leonard is the 3.50 outsider to land the MVP award, while will almost certainly go to Curry if the 31-year-old leads Golden State to anther championship victory.
Curry is 1.70 to win the MVP for 2019.
