Leverkusen v Leipzig – Saturday, April 6 at 14:30 BST

A massive first fixture for the weekend in Germany comes from Leverkusen. Bayer have slipped out of the European spots after two defeats on the trot and have seen Frankfurt burst into the top four.

Change is needed at Leverkusen but a clash with Leipzig is not the best way to enact it. Leipzig have surrendered their title challenge at this stage of the season and are out of Europe, so they have very little to play for now apart from securing Champions League football for next term.

And, yes, they are just five points ahead of fifth-place Monchengladbach. But in reality Leipzig should secure a top-four finish. It means there is some concern over the squad’s hunger heading into this clash with Leverkusen — and that is what the hosts will have to rely on come Saturday.

Leverkusen lost 3-0 at Leipzig back in November. They also head into this game off the back of respective 3-1 and 4-1 defeats to Bremen and Hoffenheim.

The logic points to a Leipzig win at 2.95. But a draw at 3.60 is maybe the best bet.

Munich v Dortmund – Saturday, April 6 at 17:30 BST

Just as the Grand National gets underway in England, the biggest football match in Germany will be almost upon us. And you can live stream football and bet in-play on Munich v Dortmund with us here at Unibet.

Munich have hit their straps in recent weeks and cut down Dortmund’s lead to two points in the Bundesliga. Their 6-0 win over Mainz before the international break preceded a 1-1 draw with Freiburg — a surprising result that had a few German football fans worried that their title challenge is not as strong as once thought.

And with Dortmund winning their last three games convincingly, it’s tough to see which way this clash will go.

Neither side has Champions League commitments anymore so expect full-strength XIs to go at each other on Saturday. Dortmund beat Munich 3-2 when these sides met in November.

The best bet is for both teams to score at 1.49. But the fact Dortmund are priced at 5.60 to get a win is very tempting indeed.

Monchengladbach v Bremen – Sunday, April 7 at 17:00 BST

Sunday sees the battle for Europe taken up again, with fifth-place Monchengladbach hosting six-place Bremen.

Now, Monchengladbach have hit disastrous form at the wrong time of the season. Having held out hopes of a title for so long, they have now won just one of their last seven games across all competitions.

Monchengladbach lost 3-1 at Dusseldorf last weekend — a disappointing result caused by a meek performance. But they did beat Bremen 3-1 back in November, so there is some confidence in the hosts getting a win this weekend.

Bremen head into this clash having won four games on the bounce. They have beaten Schalke twice and Leverkusen during that period. Bremen are one of the form teams in the Bundesliga right now and are worth backing for an away win here at 3.40.
