Second round, second leg games on May 29-31

Botafogo vs Sol de America – May 29 at 23:15 BST

The big game on Wednesday night comes from Rio De Janeiro as Botafogo aim to ease into the last-16 of the Copa Sudamericana. Botafogo earned a scrappy 1-0 win out in Paraguay in the first leg of this clash, with Sol de America struggling to threaten the Brazilian goal.

Wednesday night sees the two sides clash in Rio and Botafogo are 1.58 favourites to win the match. They should get the job done comfortably, having done the hard work in the first leg.

But fans betting and watching the live football can expect cards galore here. After all, there was a red card apiece when these sides clashed last week!

Deportivo Lara vs Corinthians – May 30 at 21:00 BST

This tie is set to be an engrossing affair as Brazilian side Corinthians seek to defend their 2-0 first-leg lead over Deportivo out in Venezuela. Corinthians are on a three-game winning streak right now and have lost just one of their last seven outings. But travelling for this away clash could prove tricky.

Indeed, Deportivo have not played a game since their defeat in Brazil last week and should prove a better opponent than last time out. Deportivo were outrun and outplayed by Corinthians in Sao Paulo, managing just one shot on target all match.

That’s why they are 3.30 to win this game despite being on ‘home’ soil. Punters should look at Corinthians’ 2.20 match-winning odds as a great price. Yes, Corinthians don’t need to win this game to progress to the last-16, but they proved more than capable of controlling proceedings in the first leg.

Deportes Tolima vs Argentinos Juniors – May 30 at 23:15 BST

This is another tie well balanced heading into the second leg, with Argentinos taking a 1-0 lead into their away fixture in Tolima. Argentinos won the first leg thanks to a 93rd-minute strike from Carlos Quintana — and in fairness it was a deserved win after the hosts’ command of the game.

Yet Deportes will be confident of flipping this fixture around in Ibague. The Colombians are going strong in their domestic league and the Argentinos defeat was their only loss in six games.

The issue for Deportes is in defence. They have drawn three of those aforementioned six games 1-1, and have conceded in five of those outings. Deportes are 1.74 to win this match but a better bet may be to back both teams to score at 2.35.

Still, it should prove an entertaining game and remember, you can watch and bet on the football live stream with Unibet!
