Lyon v Guingamp – Friday, February 15 at 19:45 GMT
Lyon may be out of the Ligue 1 title race but they are nevertheless battling for the Champions League spots. And a win over Guingamp on Friday night is crucial. Lyon know a slip-up at this stage could let Montpellier or Saint Etienne in on third place.

Worryingly for Lyon, they saw a five-game winning streak come to a close last Sunday with the 1-0 defeat at Nice. It was a surprise result but fairly reflected the performance, where Lyon were consigned to pop-shots at goal which rarely troubled Walter Benitez.
Could they lose a second game on the trot? Well, Guingamp themselves are having a miserable time of it. They’re winless in six games and lost 2-1 to Lyon in the French Cup earlier this month.
That result should mean Lyon are deserved favourites at 1.28 to win this game. But they have Barca in the Champions League next up, so a few players may well be rested here. This is a game worth betting on while watching the football live stream, so you can gauge the flow of proceedings.
Lille v Montpellier – Sunday, January 17 at 14:00 GMT
A fire-cracker of a match kicks us off on Sunday with top-four hunters Montpellier arriving at second-place Lille. Now, Lille have been the success story of Ligue 1 so far this season and the only contenders to even try and match Paris SG in the title race. They have benefitted from no European distractions this season and are now out of the French Cup as well.

The remit for Lille is a Champions League spot for next season and they’re going about it the right way. Five straight Ligue 1 victories — in which they have conceded just two goals — have them within touching distance of that promised land.
Even better for Lille, they beat Montpellier 1-0 when these sides met in December. A Nicolas Pepe goals divided the sides and he is a great bet to add to his 16 goals this season.
Can Montpellier get a result here? Well, just one win in nine — a run that started with the defeat to Lille — says no. They are unbeaten in five games (DDWDD) but away from home Montpellier have been a mess. Draws at Dijon, Rennes and Nimes have ruined their hopes of a top-two finish.
Lille are 1.95 to win this game.
Saint Etienne v Paris SG – Sunday, January 17 at 20:00 GMT
Paris SG are romping away with the Ligue 1 title right now and even the loss of their star strikers due to injury doesn’t seem to be stopping them.

The French giants beat Manchester United 2-0 in the Champions League in midweek and ended up controlling the game at Old Trafford. It seems as though Paris SG are untouchable right now, having beaten Bordeaux 1-0 last weekend as well.
Saint Etienne themselves are still hoping to claim a top-four finish but — like Montpellier — have endured a miserable few weeks. Zero wins in four games has seen them slump in the table and exit the French Cup. Last weekend’s 3-0 loss at Rennes was a total disaster, which wasn’t helped by Romain Hamouma’s red card in the last minute.
He now misses this crunch match with Paris SG and it’s hard to see where Saint Etienne are going to get anything from Sunday’s clash.
