Cheltenham live stream and betting tips – Gold Cup (15:30)
Native River is the 7/2 joint favourite with Presenting Percy to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup this year. And plenty of horse racing betting fans are backing the nine-year-old to defend the title he won last year. Native River has not won a race since clinching the Gold Cup in 2018.

Two runs — at Haydock and Kempton — have resulted in places. But that hasn’t stopped the punters siding with this horse.
Phillip Reynolds’ Presenting Percy is the joint favourite and has plenty of interest in his form. He has won five of his last seven races and that includes Cheltenham last year when Davy Russell rode the eight-year-old to Novice’s Chase glory.
Cheltenham Gold Cup outsiders
So who are the outsiders here? Might Bite has threatened so much over the years and is 12/1 in the horse racing betting odds to win here. That’s a great price with Nico de Boinville on board. Thistlecrack (14/1) and Anibale Fly (18/1) are to other horses Cheltenham regulars will recognise.
That was a proper race!

In 2016 Thistlecrack won the World Hurdle at Cheltenham – but it wasn’t during the festival. His second place at Kempton on Boxing Day hints at improvement. He is a strong outside bet.
As for Anibale Fly, the French nine-year-old has not own a race in 15 months. JP McManus’ big bet finished third behind Native River in the Gold Cup last year. Another place is worth considering.
