Chelsea wrongly favourites to win
Despite their dire form of late, Chelsea are favourites to beat Manchester United and make it through to the FA Cup quarter-finals. The Blues have lost two of their last four games, including a humbling 6-0 defeat at Manchester City last weekend.
Since then they have beaten Malmo in the Europa League with a much-changed side. In reality this Chelsea Xi is more than a match for United’s but their form it atrocious of late. Manager Maurizio Sarri has even confessed he does not know how to motivate his players.

Chelsea are 2.08 to win this match and those are short odds considering United’s form. The Red Devils have lost just once since manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge in December — and that was against a PSG side desperate for Champions League glory this season.
The smart bet therefore is on United, who are 3.70 to win this match. Yes, the last time these sides met was a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge. And because there are no replays at this stage of the FA Cup, United are well priced at 2.35 to go through.
1-0 home result suits the trend
If you’re seeking to go with a the trend in this match, then Chelsea to win 1-0 is your bet. The Blues have beaten United 1-0 in each of their last three victories over the Red Devils. Two of those results came at Stamford Bridge, with the third in the FA Cup final last year.

However, Chelsea have won just five games all season by a 1-0 scoreline. And United have lost by that measure just once. So a price of 8.00 for 1-0 is not as tempting as, say, Chelsea to win and both teams score at 3.95.
United are averaging 2.3 goals per game under Solskjaer. And Chelsea have conceded on average 1.7 goals per outing from their last nine games. Both teams to score is priced at 1.67.
Card betting at -3.5
Chelsea v Manchester United may be a crunch clash, but rarely do tensions spill over. Unlike some big matches in English football, this game does not always cater to a high yellow card count.
Solskjaer on Chelsea: "I went to see them against Manchester City and City were clinical of course, but [Chelsea] have some fantastic players as well — they could have easily scored two or three in that game. They will be a tough team to play." #MUFC

An average of 4.5 yellow cards (and one red) have been dished out over the past seven games between Chelsea and United. October’s 2-2 draw saw seven dished out, although tensions were raised that day as Jose Mourinho battled to keep his job.
Expect under 4.5 cards on Monday at 1.64. And if you watch the Chelsea live stream and decide the game will be a tame one, bet on -3.5 cards at 2.60.
