Tuesday

Happygolucky – Ultima Handicap Chase

The first horse the traders really want beat on Tuesday is Ultima favourite HAPPYGOLUCKY. Kim Bailey's charge looks to have been laid out for the race and punters on this will have been pleased by the recent news that his main market rival, Lieutenant Rocco, picked up a late injury and will miss the race.

Unibet Champion Hurdle

We've laid all of the 'big three' – Epatante, Honeysuckle and Goshen – for decent amounts as it seems punters have this down very much as a three horse race. Any other result in this race aside from those three would have our traders jumping for joy!

Coltor – Boodles Handicap Hurdle

They don't come much shrewder than trainer Dermot Weld and the traders report a lot sustained money for COLTOR. The 4yo won a shade cosily last time out and, like so many in the field, is totally unexposed. It will be interesting to see how this one gets on next week!

Wednesday

Bob Olinger – Ballymore

Very much the Cheltenham Preview Night 'Talking Horse' of 2021 but in truth we'd seen plenty of support for this guy long before the recent preview events. Unbeaten over hurdles, he looks a potential superstar and punters will be hoping he is the 'God given certainty' one judge described him as in recent weeks as we're facing a hefty pay out on Henry de Bromhead's charge!

Thursday

Envoi Allen – Marsh Novices' Chase

The worst result of the week for Unibet (at this stage). Punters have been backing this fella for months and with good reason. ENVOI ALLEN might just be the banker of the week for many, but while you're cheering, spare a thought for the traders (or don't!) who most definitely won't be if this two time winning Festival hero bags a third win in as many years.

Royal Kahala – Mares Novices' Chase

This race has been a Willie Mullins benefit since its inauguration in 2016, with the legendary handler winning all five renewals. However, punters will be hoping he doesn't experience the joy of six just yet as they've piled into Peter Fahey's ROYAL KAHALA who has won two of her three hurdle races so far. In a wide open race, she looks to have as good a chance as any.

Friday

Zanahiyr – Triumph Hurdle

ZANAHIYR has looked awesome over in Ireland, winning all three races over obstacles to date. Already a Grade 2 winner, he hasn't been missed by our punters and he would be a bad start to one of the biggest days of betting of the year if he lands the opening race on Gold Cup day!

Our traders also report that the Novice Chase treble – Shishkin, Monkfish and Enovi Allen all to win – has been a popular bet for a few months now.
