The feature on day two of the Ebor Festival is the Yorkshire Oaks Group 1, which sees Minnie Hauk at Unibet 3/10 on heading the market in this four-runner field. She is hard to oppose after her Cheshire Oaks success and at Epsom where she showed plenty of determination to win the Oaks, beating stablemate Whirl. Admittedly she wasn’t so impressive in the Irish Oaks last time out, yet Minnie Hauk looks the type to continue to progress and can win another Group 1.
Enjoy, whether at York or watching #athome on ITV Racing and Racing TV.
Cheers!

2:25 York – Harry’s Half Million By Goffs (6f)
Tadej (nap) is just about clear on the ratings, even giving the 7lbs away and is the best horse in the race. He has pulled stall 1 out of the bag, which can work in his favour on the straight course at York.
He has been placed in Group company at Chantilly and won at Deauville, and he’s going to find this an easier task. The conditions are going to suit him, and he won back in May at the Knavesmire over this distance.
3.00 York – Clipper Handicap (Heritage Handicap) (1m)
Bullet Point has been marked up in my Unibet Blog on his previous two runs finishing second at Royal Ascot in the Royal Hunt Cup and runner-up in a Handicap on King George VI day.
His last appearance was particularly impressive, and he can take this competitive race.
Myal was disappointing in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket, and it was unusual to see him have a poor run.
He was fourth at Royal Ascot to Never So Brave in the Buckingham Palace Stakes, having just beaten Never So Brave at Chester on his previous run.
Myal has won six of his last ten starts, and he will return to form to reward each-way players.
4:45 York – Mews Hotel Ossett EBF Stallions Nursery Handicap (7f)
Logi Bear for Unibet Ambassador Richard Hannon has stall 1 in his favour, which Harrow won from in 2021. After a couple of poor runs at Ascot and Newbury, he certainly bounced back to form at Goodwood last time, when meeting traffic problems at the point when he needed to get a run, though he certainly stayed on well to grab fifth close home behind Ardisia.
He looked very much like a seventh furlong would suit, and with the likely fast pace this all adds to his chance.
