ROYAL Ascot 2025 day two is forecast to be another dry day with the ground looking sure to be good to firm.
The Prince of Wales’s Stakes Group 1 is a cracker, as Anmaat and Los Angeles renew rivalry after their clash at the Curragh, with Anmaat selected to come on top this time.
Enjoy whether at Royal Ascot or watching all the races #athome on ITV Racing.

2.30 Royal Ascot – Queen Mary Stakes Group 2 Fillies (5f)
Revival Power showed loads of inexperience on debut at Thirsk last month, after being slowly away due to greenness and she was nowhere near the pace until halfway when looking the most unlikely winner. It was then that the penny started to drop, and she made rapid progress through the field to lead in the final furlong winning by a length at 20/1 with something in hand.
She is by Bungle in the jungle, who is a smart sprinting sire, and she is a full sister to some impressive winners, including the Nunthorpe victor Winter Power, who won three times as a juvenile. It is hard to think that Revival Power won’t step up considerably from her debut and run a big race.

Shackleton was made favourite for the Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh on his reappearance last month when fourth to Thrice, but he looked like needed the run and wasn’t given a hard race after getting increasingly warm all the way to post. It’s hard to believe Shackleton won’t come forward from that run and as he did in the Zetland Stakes at Newmarket on his final start of his juvenile campaign this well-made individual looks the type to really progress.
There is the stamina in the family, and you can see Shackleton racing prominently with this step up in distance all in his favour.

Anmaat (nap) renews rivalry with Los Angeles, who beat him by half a length in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last month; after looking like he was going to be the winner one furlong out when leading briefly afterr travelling strongly.
Anmaat looked an unlikely winner of the 2024 Champion Stakes at Ascot two furlongs out and then managed to find a gap to beat Calandagan by half a length, which was some performance, with Los Angeles back in ninth.
This seven-year-old has the course form and importantly the turn of foot to be really effective, whilst he has won on good to firm on three occasions, which some have questioned about his ability on faster ground, and he will prevail.

Bullet Point has form figures of 4111 since going handicapping and notched up his hat-trick with a career best performance at Newmarket on seasonal debut when beating Tribal Chief easily under a fine tactical ride on good going.
His last three wins have all been at this distance and his sire Advertise was effective on good to firm with the speed too.
Bullet Point has each way claims at a minimum and 9st 3lb looks a favourable weight to carry judged on recent winners.
Tokenomics has won four of his six starts ranging over trips from seven furlongs to one mile one furlong, so this is very much his distance.
He certainly made an impression on his recent appearance on seasonal debut at Cork last month over seven furlongs when not getting a clear run and then moving smoothly through to win a shade cosily.
Tokenomics delivered a career best performance that day and he certainly has the potential to run a big race in the Royal Hunt Cup, which was won by his trainer in 2018.

Rose Prick was second here to Bellarchi over this distance last May, which interestingly was the last time she ran in a handicap. Rost Prick has run in five Listed contests since then putting in consistent performances, including in her latest start when third to Ambiente Amigo in the Nottinghamshire Oaks over one mile two furlongs.
It is not a concern she is dropping back in trip as she has been campaigned principally over a mile and this genuine type, who is effective on quick ground, looks the each way value.
