PREDICTABLY the weather has brought a halt to turf racing and we are off to the all-weather at Lingfield and Wolverhampton
Let’s hope subzero temperatures are making a temporary appearance as I’m looking forward to Sandown’s card on Saturday featuring the Scilly Isles Novices’ Chase.
Across the channel, the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown takes to the stage and we will all be looking for those Cheltenham Festival pointers!
Enjoy.
Cheers

Narjes (nap) was a winner here in December and looked for all the world like following last time out, tanking through the race and quickening two lengths clear at the furlong pole, only to pull himself up in front and get nailed on the line by a rallying Global Wonder. Unibet Ambassador Luke Morris will be at pains to hold onto him a bit longer today, but he can reverse the form with the winner.

Happy Escape is going places and can notch up a hat-trick for the Tony Carroll team.
On her last two winning starts at Kempton she has looked very impressive and has been found the ideal opportunity here in a four runner contest.

The eleven-year old Pharoh Jake can return to winning ways, having ran well here when second last time out, following a course and distance win earlier in the month.
Ellie Mackenzie claims seven and has taken the rides on Pharoh Jake’s last two starts.
4.45 Wolverhampton 1m 1½f
Sir Lancelott finds winning hard but that goes for plenty of these, and his overall Wolverhampton record at this trip reads perfectly well enough to give him each way chances here. Will appreciate the step up in trip after being outpaced over 7f at Chelmsford last time, and can reward each way support.

Little Choosey since winning at Newcastle last November it’s been a tale of woe, beating only a handful of horses home, yet she definitely worth an each-way wager here. The course and distance suits her well and she’s drawn to attack from stall 1 in a field of horses that like to be held up, to varying extents.
