TODAY'S selections cover the two courses the cold weather has left us with today. Frost has wiped out the jumping at Catterick and Hereford, so we will focus on the all-weather at Lingfield and Kempton.
I’m interested to see how Deer Song at Kempton for John Bridger, who has his yard in good form.
This weekend jump racing is centre stage with a cracking card at Doncaster and Festival Trials Day at Cheltenham. It is a mouth-watering Saturday so go racing!

Sea’s Aria in a very open race is definitely worth an each-way bet. This eight-year-old finds winning hard, but these conditions are ideal as he stays well as he showed last time out here in a tightly grouped contest. This dual-purpose performer is in decent form at present and will have his chance in the latter stages.

Deer Song was a winner over course and distance here in better class of contest than this last time out. He pulled away impressively and clocked a decent speed figure too, so there was no fluke about it. Penalty to carry but a repeat of that from a reasonable draw here could make him hard to beat again at a course where he shows his best all-weather form.

Ilhabela Fact tried his hand at two miles last time and travelled like the best horse before not getting home. Had looked progressive before that, winning over course and distance in a better grade on his previous start with Franny Norton in the plate and this drop back in trip can see him get back to winning ways with the same jockey booking.
