NEWCASTLE

3:40

Local Hero (Hollie Doyle)

We fancied him to run very well at Kempton last time and he did what we expected. He’s 6lbs higher now but won with plenty in hand and is improving all the time.

Unibet are paying an EXTRA PLACE in this race!

4:15

Invited (Hollie Doyle)

He ran well at Newmarket last week where he showed plenty of speed, so the drop down to five won’t be a problem and he’s getting better with each run. He should go very close.

4:50

Forca Timao (Hollie Doyle)

He’s gradually coming down to a mark I think he can be competitive off, and he’s unexposed at the trip, but I do expect him to come on for the run.

NEWMARKET

1:40

New Charter (Sean Levey)

We’ve always liked her, and I think she’s ready for the step up to seven (furlongs). This is a drop down in grade and she’s probably ready to win now.

3:25

Witch Hunter (Sean Levey)

I was thrilled with his run in the Queen Anne, and he appears to have come out of it in good form. He takes his racing very well and seven furlongs or a mile come as the same to him. Everyone knows his form and I can’t see why he won’t run well again.

Unibet are BOOSTING the price of the favourite in this one!

5:10

Mafnood (Jim Crowley)

He has plenty of ability and ran much better at Sandown than the form figure suggests. This is his trip, and he handles any ground so has every chance.

CHESTER

3:00

Bosh (Joe Leavy)

On the whole he’s pretty consistent and Joe’s 5lbs claim brings his weight down nicely. Stall seven might not be all that bad because there’s likely to be plenty of pace and he’ll definitely be finishing well at the end.

WINDSOR

2:42

Wheels Of Fire (Rab Havlin)

He’s a good-looking son of Mehmas who has been going nicely at home and will certainly be winning races but, like many of ours, he’ll come on for the run.

Yakfeek (Alec Voikhansky)

He’s been working well and has been away to gallop so should be reasonably streetwise; whether he’s ready to win first time out, time will tell, but I like him and hopefully he’ll put up a decent show.

4:25

The Coffee Pod (Alec Voikhansky)

The cheekpieces will keep his eye on the job and I think he’ll be happier back over six furlongs. The handicapper now has him down to 77, which should be workable, and he doesn’t really have any excuses.

DONCASTER

7:00

Signcastle City (Sam Hitchcott)

He’s up three for winning at Chepstow last time but that was a good performance giving plenty of weight to the second. Fast ground suits and he has another good chance.

8:00

Fihrayn (Sam Hitchcott)

He has some decent juvenile form but hasn’t shown quite so much in two starts this season, so he’s dropping back in trip and down in grade which will hopefully see him in with a shout.
