GOODWOOD-THURSDAY
3:45 Nursery
Mark Of The Man (Sean Levey)
He showed a great attitude at Chepstow when looking vulnerable entering the final 100m but really stuck his neck out and battled hard to win nicely. That was another step in the right direction and he’ll definitely get further, but this looks a good race for him and while Running Back has the best chance on form, this colt is improving and very gutsy.

Running Back (Oisin Murphy)
I was delighted with his debut at Newbury when placed behind Qaader, who was subsequently second in the Coventry and is close to the top of the market for today’s Richmond, so there’s probably no better form on offer. He should really have won at Kempton last time but ended up getting caught for a bit of toe and was beaten a head in what was a messy race so the step up to seven furlongs will really help as he came with a real wet sail in the final 50 yards. We gave him a nice easy time of it after that to keep him as fresh as possible and he comes here in great shape therefore I expect him to go extremely close.

Teodolina (Ryan Moore)
She ran very well on debut at Newmarket where she learned plenty and has continued to improve at home since. That run will have put her spot on for this and she’ll relish the step up to seven furlongs, all of which gives me great confidence that she can make her presence felt with Ryan Moore in the plate.
