2:30 G3 Albany Stakes
Indigo Dawn (Pat Dobbs)
I was delighted with her win on debut at Goodwood, where she kicked clear in the style of a good filly. Quite how strong a Maiden it was, only time will tell, but Indigo Dawn has improved again for the experience, and her work is always to a good standard, so she could run well at decent odds.
Tahalel (Sean Levey)
I thought she’d win at Haydock, but despite it being a small field, she wasn’t drawn ideally and simply got caught out by the reopposing Fitzella, who had valuable experience and was given a good ride from the front. With that first run under her belt, I would be expecting her to improve immensely, and I rate her very highly, although this is obviously a big step up.
6:10 Palace of Holyroodhouse Stakes
An Outlaw’s Grace (first reserve)
His form tailed off towards the backend of last season, and he wasn’t much better on his first start of the year at Newbury, but that will have sharpened him up and he competes here of a nice low mark – if he gets a run!
