What An Angel (Ryan Moore)

She ran well enough at Sandown last time on her first start over a mile and she’s come out of the race in good form which is why we’re backing her up pretty quickly. This looks a decent Nursery but I’m happy with her and Ryan Moore is an obvious plus.

3:35 G3 Somerville Stakes

Manigordo (Pat Dobbs)

He was slightly unlucky at Doncaster last time as he got caught short of room at a crucial stage but finished his race really well to get beaten only a length. I’ve always thought a great deal of this colt and the track will suit his style so I fancy him to run a big race.

Oh Purple Reign (Sean Levey)

This horse is a model of consistency and has pretty much danced every dance this season. The step back up to seven furlongs won’t be a problem and he looks sure to finish in the money.

5:50 Newmarket Challenge Whip

Quick (Tom Marquand)

She’s back up to a mark of 80 but I think she improved for the step up in trip last time and this looks another good opportunity to continue her progression. Tom gets on well with her and the ground won’t be an issue therefore I’ll be disappointed if she isn’t capable of putting up a massive show.
