KEMPTON
3:15 G3 Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Sirenia Stakes
Miami Girl
She ran in the Dick Poole at Salisbury on Thursday and it’s unlikely that she’ll take her chance in this unless she’s absolutely bouncing in the morning!
Minnetonka (Dane O’Neill)
I’m not convinced she’s an out and out five furlong filly so the step back up to this trip is a big plus and I don’t think we’ve reached the ceiling with her. She worked well on Wednesday morning and comes into this with a realistic chance over a distance that is her optimum.
4:25 Unibet Superboosts Nursery Handicap
Manifested (Pat Dobbs)
He didn’t get the best of luck at York last time but ran well nevertheless and I think he’s ready to tackle a mile. The Handicapper has dropped him a couple of pounds and the step down to Class Four is also a big plus. I fancy him to go very close.

Signcastle City (Danny Tudhope)
I thought he ran well in a Listed race at Salisbury last time but I’m not convinced he really stayed the trip so the drop back to seven will help, as will the step into Handicap Company for the first time. I am pretty sure he’s a colt who will develop into a very smart performer and there’s still plenty to come.

Mums Tipple (Danny Tudhope)
We managed to win with him again at Newmarket on his penultimate start and he was arguably quite unlucky at a crucial stage at York last time, but he’s now back up to a mark of 97 (having won of 91) which obviously makes things harder again; although he has won and run well at this track before.
HAYDOCK
1:15 Listed Ascendant Stakes
Dark Thirty (Sean Levey)
He lost a shoe in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood which split some parts part of his hoof and it has taken a bit of time to heal, but he’s absolutely fine now so I’d be inclined to draw a line right through that run. He’s a colt who I think could improve a lot for the step up to a mile and the long straight at Haydock will suit him. He’ll probably be a big price but I wouldn’t dismiss him lightly.
1:45 G3 Superior Mile
Tacarib Bay (Sean Levey)
He ran a great race in a good Handicap at Goodwood last time and is unbeaten in both starts at this track so this seems the most logical race for him. It’s a step back up in grade but he’s still lightly raced and I think the return to a mile will suit.
THIRSK
5:11
Sir Rumi (Rowan Scott)
He’s generally very consistent and genuine but struggles to get his head in front. That said, he won’t have a problem with the drop back to a mile and a half and it’s a drop down in grade, so he has every chance here.
