Mr Baloo

NEWMARKET

1:45

Aramram (Joe Leavy)

He’s extremely consistent and was unlucky not to win over course and distance last time when he got caught close home. The Handicapper has kept him on 91 and he’s marginally better off at the weights with More Thunder.

5:50

Mr Baloo (Joe Leavy)

He lost nothing in defeat over 10f at Lingfield last time and seemed to get the trip. The return to a mile is an obvious plus but he’s gradually creeping up the weights, so he does need to produce a career best.

GOODWOOD

4:33

British Blue (Pat Dobbs)

She showed a good attitude to win on her first start at Kempton and then found the G3 at Newbury a bit beyond her at this stage of her career, but this is a class drop, and she has her first start in a Handicap; it does, however, look like a competitive race.

DONCASTER

6:20

Blue Lancero (Tom Greatrex)

He was slow to come to hand last year, so didn’t run as a 2-y-o, but he’s strengthened and matured a lot over the winter, and his work is to a fair standard.

Nakeeb (Sam Hitchcott)

We gave him a run last back end for experience, where he ran very well, and I was delighted with his first run back at Newmarket last time. This doesn’t look to be the strongest race, and I’ll be disappointed if he’s not capable of going extremely close.

8:24

Sol Argent (Alec Voikhansky)

He was disappointing as a 2-y-o, so has been gelded and wears blinkers for the first time. The trip should suit as will the ground, so hopefully he’ll put up a more credible performance.
