Miami Girl (Ross Ryan)
She’s a real nice filly by Cotai Glory who has shown plenty in her work at home. There aren’t many runners so she should get a nice introduction and I expect her to run a good race
1:50 Handicap
Sir Rumi (Rossa Ryan)
I thought he’d win at Musselburgh last time but he was a little bit keen and then hung when coming under pressure, but he’s better than that and the horse that won the race (Enemy) came out and franked the form when finishing a close up (unlucky) third in the G3 Sagaro Stakes on Wednesday, so the form has a pretty strong look to it and I’m hopeful he can bounce back here.
4:15 Handicap
Desert Angel (Ryan Moore)
He was slow leaving the gates last time so did well to finish where he did when coming from behind. The handicapper put him up another 2lbs for finishing third which isn’t ideal but he’s a smart horse, is very consistent and has won at this track before. I think he could be even better for the step up in trip.
Thunder Max (Rossa Ryan)
He stayed on nicely over course and distance last time and a reproduction of that effort would give him a chance but I do think he needs to step up.
4:50 Handicap
Siamsa (Ryan Moore)
She’s a very likeable filly who’s got ideal ground conditions and has also won over course and distance. She needed her first run back but has improved plenty since and I expect her to go well
Clase Azul Ultra (Rossa Ryan)
I thought he’d run a little bit better than he did at Lingfield last time so I’m pinning my hopes on the step back up in trip and the quick ground here should suit because he’s a sharp colt. If he can get into a nice rhythm close to the front he could easily give them all something to think about.
SALISBURY
We’ve got a few runners down at Salisbury, which is a track we have plenty of winners at, and I quite fancy the chances of Windseeker in the Novice Stakes at 3:52. He was quite a backward early on as a 2-y-o so we took our time and he came out and ran two very nice races, ending up scoring at Chelmsford in October. He’s done well over the winter and he’d have a big chance under Pat Dobbs. Cabrackan came from way too far back at Beverly last time and was unlucky not to win so we’ll ride him a lot closer and I wouldn’t put you off him in the Handicap at 4:27.
