She showed a real good attitude to win at Nottingham on her debut when I think she would’ve needed it so I’d like to think there is some improvement to come and her work has been very good since then. There are lots of unknown quantities in this race, and she’s one, but everything she has done has been good and I can’t see any reason why she won’t run a big race.

3:40 G1 Commonwealth Cup
Happy Romance (Sean Levey)
She didn’t like the soft ground at Newbury last time and didn’t stay seven furlongs in the Fred Darling so a fast run six here should be right up her street and Sean will hold on to her for as long as he can because she’s got a good turn of foot. We know she’s trained all because she scored impressively at Chelmsford in a decent race and I can’t see any reason why she won’t be on the premises and she’s represents great value at 33/1.

4:20 G1 Coronation Stakes
Snow Lantern (Sean Levey)
Everybody knows how much I love this filly and we’ve done lots of work to settle her down at home. We’ve also taken her away to Newbury where she enjoyed a nice gallop and settled nicely which will have done her the world of good. She was much too keen at York last time but they are likely to go a decent gallop in this and there hasn’t been as much rain as they thought which is also in our favour. She’s a high class filly with an extremely bright future and I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do here. Hopefully she can put York behind her and regain the winning thread.

5:00 Sandringham Stakes
Teodolina (Sean Levey)
She’s always shown a decent level of form and was a winner over course and distance in May in a Handicap. She is now up to a mark of 90 which is probably accurate and any rain would really help her chances. I don’t think she’s out of it.

5:35 Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes
Lost Eden (Andrea Atzeni)
We pulled him out of Epsom recently due to the ground and there hasn’t been much rain around at Ascot at present so conditions could be ideal. He was found to have an irregular heartbeat after his Ascot run but he’s been fully checked over and is absolutely fine and put in a nice piece of work a few days ago. It’s a competitive race but he’s unexposed and he definitely has plenty of ability so if you can forgive his latest run he’d have a solid each-way shot on decent ground.
