GOODWOOD
Great Bedwyn (Pat Dobbs)
He showed a good attitude to win at Newbury last time and stayed on nicely, which suggests the step up in trip will be in his favour. The Handicapper hasn’t been overly harsh, and he’s won at the track before, so has plenty in his favour.
Dark Thirty (Sean Levey)
His best form is probably with a bit of juice in the ground, but he’s ran some nice races at the track and a fast run six furlongs will help. He’s drawn in 19 and if getting luck in running, which they all need, he has a solid each way shout.
Antelope (Sean Levey)
He’s a gorgeous colt owned by Janette McCreery, out of Anna Nerium, who was a G3/Listed winner for us and scored twice at this track, so he’s certainly bred to be winning races around here! His work has been good, and this looks a nice starting point.
NEWMARKET
Miss Collada (Alec Voikhansky)
She wasn’t disgraced in the Super Sprint but is ready for the step up to six furlongs and this is her first start in a Handicap where Alec takes a valuable 3lbs off her back.
Kayia (Alec Voikhansky)
She’s a beautifully bred filly from the family of Love Divine, who has taken a bit of time to come to herself but is ready to go now and she should hopefully run a nice race. That said, she will come on for the experience.
WINDSOR
Yakfeek (Sam Hitchcott)
He seems to show lots of speed so we’re dropping down to five furlongs and will make plenty of use of him. After this he’ll have a mark, and we should definitely have some fun in Handicaps.
The Coffee Pod (Sam Hitchcott)
He’s been in very good form all summer and comes here of the same mark as last time. The track, trip and ground will all suit and I expect him to put up a bold show.
New Kings Road (Liam Keniry)
He goes well on good to firm and a mile is his trip. I was disappointed with his latest run, so he does need to bounce back, but he’s more than capable of making his presence felt, dropping down a grade.
