CURRAGH

2:30 G2 Greenlands Stakes

Shouldvebeenaring (Sean Levey)

He was very unlucky not to win the G2 at York, and if any horse deserves to bag a big one, it’s him. I’m not sure what went wrong at Newmarket prior to that, but he bounced back last time and a reproduction of that would see him go very close. We have done absolutely nothing with him at home since the Duke of York so I wouldn’t be concerned about the ten-day gap. He’s ready to go again.

3:40 G1 Irish 2000 Guineas

Rosallion (Sean Levey)

Everything has gone well since Newmarket and this race has been the plan ever since. He did his last gallop (with Haatem) on Sunday and worked exceptionally well, like he always does. He’ll love the Good to Firm ground and I think this track may suit him even better than the Rowley Mile.

Haatem (Jamie Spencer)

There is nothing not to like about him; he wears his heart on his sleeve and has such a lovely attitude. We always thought he’d stay a mile and he proved that in the Craven and Guineas. He’s much more versatile ground-wise and comes here with a rock-solid chance.

HAYDOCK

1:15

Blue Lemons (James Doyle)

I was delighted with his run in the Esher Cup and I think a mile is his optimum trip. He’s plenty high enough in the weights but will absolutely love the ground and should go very well.

GOODWOOD

1:30

The Camden Colt (Alec Voikhansky)

We’re dropping back a furlong in trip, which I think will suit around a track like this, and Alec’s 3lbs claim is a big help because he looks to be in the handicapper’s grip. He’s drawn on the wing but goes on any ground so should hopefully put up a decent show.

2:35

Jewel Of London (Pat Dobbs)

She’s a very straightforward filly who has been going nicely at home and is ready to go. She’s quite sharp so the track will suit, and we like her.

4:55

Dapperling (Pat Dobbs)

She hasn’t won since last July but was second in the Super Sprint and has some pretty respectable form. She’s got lots of pace, and handles cut in the ground, so is no forlorn hope here.

SALISBURY

4:49

Miss Collada (Joe Leavy)

Her penalty for winning at Wolverhampton is eradicated by Joe’s 5lbs claim and I was delighted with her last time because there was a delay to the off after a horse got loose but she handled it well and won with plenty in hand. She’s very progressive and I’ll be disappointed if she’s not capable of going extremely close.

5:55

Nevernay (Joe Leavy)

He shows quite a lot of pace so we’re dropping right back in trip and Good to Soft ground will be fine.

We’ve got three runners at Windsor where I’d expect Morcar to be our best chance and think he’ll take plenty of beating in the 7:45.
