Haatem (William Buick)
He has already proven to be an extremely talented colt, and I think he could be even better as a four-year-old. He’s a big, strong lad who has wintered very well and looks great in his coat. This race has always been the early season plan, and we took him away to gallop, where he was very good, so I can’t see any reason why he won’t go close because he handles any ground, and this should set us up nicely for the Lockinge.

Eupator (Pat Dobbs)
We’ve always thought a lot of him, and while he’s still a Maiden, he’s posted some good efforts in defeat and has come on a lot for his first run of the season. An opening mark of 76 looks fair, and I’d like to think he’s more than capable of being competitive on his Handicap debut.

River King (Sean Levey)
He produced a very eye-catching effort on debut at Kempton last August but had a small niggle that kept him off for the rest of the season, but he’s a colt we really like, and he has been away to work. We trained his sire, King Of Change, and we hope he has a bright future.
