3:00 Unibet Golden Mile

Qaysar (Pat Dobbs)

He’s a model of consistency as his form will tell you and he’ll absolutely love the ground if it stays softer than good. I think the return to Handicap Company is a big plus, he’s back off a winning mark and could be well drawn up against the stand side rail. Beat Le Bon took some of the money off Unibet when winning this is in 2019 off 104 and this lad is only a pound higher than him so hopefully he has a very realistic chance.

4:45 Unibet Nursery Handicap

Robjon (Pat Dobbs)

He’s done nothing wrong in all of his runs to date and I think he’ll be interesting on this Nursery debut. The ground won’t be an issue and he’s a tough little colt with a great attitude who ran well in a decent Novice at Newbury last time and on that effort he should go very well.

Sows (Thore Hammer-Hansen)

She won very impressively on debut then hated the ground in the Albany thereafter but we fancied her to run very well at Windsor on her next run but she was never really happy and hung a little bit so we’re putting it down to the fact it was too quick after Ascot, so with that in mind she’s had a nice break and we’ve freshened her up and she rates a serious threat if the ground continues to dry up.

Tropez Power (Silvestre De Sousa)

He was quite rightly awarded the race at Newbury the other day after getting bumped and barged so I was very happy the Stewards’ reversed the result because he’s a nice horse with a lovely attitude who is improving with every run. This is a typically open Nurserry but I do think he could be extremely interesting off 86.

Goldenhurst (Hollie Doyle)

He’s run well both times around here but tends to duck and dive around a bit after leaving the stalls so we’ve done plenty of work with him at home to try and eradicate that and he seems to be learning all the time. The step back down in trip will help but he does need to improve significantly to take a hand here.

5:20 Handicap

Mickydee (Thore Hammer-Hansen)

This is a big step up in grade and he needs to bounce back from a disappointing run at Chepstow last time but I think it was plenty quick enough there so he’ll be much happier on this surface and he put in a really nice piece of work the other day. It’s a big ask but he’s no forlorn hope on his best form and I wouldn’t be writing him off just yet.
