Tahitian Prince (Pat Dobbs)
He tends to save his best for the All Weather but has won on turf at Doncaster and the good ground here will be perfect. He’s taking a slight step up in grade but is very consistent and we’ll try and come as late as we can. He’s not out of it by any means.

Windseeker (Pat Dobbs)
He ran very well on Handicap debut at Haydock last time and returns here off the same mark. The stiff finish will suit and he’s been in great form. It’s a step up in grade but he’s a nice colt and should go well.

Gustav Holst (Pat Dobbs)
He’s dropping in the weights and going up in trip which will hopefully aid his cause because recent form isn’t particularly inspiring, and apart from a good effort a few runs ago in first time blinkers, you couldn’t be overly confident he’s ready to win.

Gisburn (Sean Levey)
There’s no doubt he should’ve won at Leicester last time where he lost out by a head conceding a stone and a half to the eventual winner (who reopposes today) and while it was frustrating to get beat, it was good to see he’d retained plenty of ability because he’s a colt we’ve always thought a great deal of and I fancy him very strongly here.

He hasn’t won for a while but is 2lbs lower than when he scored at Doncaster last summer and he’s dropping down a couple of grades, too. The quicker the ground the better and if he can take advantage of his dropping mark he’d have an each way squeak.

BATH

She’s A Mirage (Dane O’Neill)
She’s learning all the time and actually ran better than her form figure at Salisbury suggests and she’s a filly we’ve always quite liked. This looks quite competitive, and she’ll have a Handicap mark after this, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see her on the premises.

Mount Kosciusko (Dane O’Neill)
He finally got the job done at Windsor in blinkers last time so we’re keeping the headgear on and hopefully that win will have done his confidence a lot of good. He’s got top weight but is a big, strong horse and is the type who could easily follow up.

Life’s A Beach (Alec Voikhansky)
He’s ultimately been very disappointing and has been a beaten favourite on his last four starts, but he ran well at Brighton on his penultimate run and if he can reproduce something like that he’d have a chance, but I’m not convinced by any means.

He was well beaten last time and needs to step up considerably to be seriously considered here.
