GOODWOOD

4:10 Maiden

Cabrakan (Rossa Ryan)

He’s a nice colt with quite a mixed pedigree but has shown plenty of ability at home and he worked well when we took him away a couple of weeks ago. I expect him to improve for run but he has a nice attitude at home although I am slightly concerned about the ground so not entirely sure he’ll run.

Holiday (Sean Levey)

It’s been the plan to come here because his owner Julie Wood loves having runners at Goodwood and he’s shown a decent level on the gallops at home to suggest that he can make his presence felt. But this looks a very good Maiden and he’s not drawn very well in 15.

4:45 Apprentice Handicap

Dingle (Liam Browne)

This is obviously a big step down in grade compared to Thursday and with Liam’s 7lbs claim I think he’s extremely well treated. When his winning chance was over Jimmy quite rightly didn’t give him a hard time and he actually comes into this with a solid chance.

NEWMARKET

2:10 Fillies’ Nursery

Symphony Perfect (Pat Dobbs)

She ran a fantastic race in the Super Sprint off the back of an easy win at Bath and she’s absolutely thriving at present so should make a bold show in a race that looks very suitable and she goes there with a favourite’s chance on her decent form.

DONCASTER

1:45

Mount Rainier (Thore Hammer Hansen)

He got put up 6lbs for winning nicely at Ffos Las last time so he’s got to step up again but is clearly on the upgrade and we’ve kept him nice and fresh at home so he arrives here in good form and has rock solid credentials again.

Indian Guru (Kath Begley)

She actually didn’t performed too badly in what looked a decent Fillies’ Maiden at Newbury last time and I think this is her trip. It’s her first run in a Nursery and it will be interesting to see if she’s well treated off 60 with Katy’s 5lbs claim.

LINGFIELD

8:05

Malvern (Luke Catton)

He could be quite well handicapped in a race like this having been dropped a few more pounds after his latest start and with Luke’s 3lbs claim he doesn’t really have any excuses. He’s got the blinkers on again which help him concentrate but the soft ground would be a slight question mark.
