2:45 G2 Gimcrack Stakes
Mohawk King (Pat Dobbs)
We quite fancied him going into Ascot and he duly obliged to score in style and this has been the aim ever since. The form of that race has worked out well, with the fifth going on to win and he seems to have improved a lot at home since then as well. We won this race with Threat last year and while this horse has to continue improving, he’s a colt with lots of scope and goes there in cracking form.
3:45 Convivial Maiden
Dingle (Pat Dobbs)
He ran a very encouraging race on debut at Newmarket when he would’ve badly needed it and the ground was plenty soft enough as well. He’s always been an colt we’ve liked and with expected improvement I really rate his chance.
We’ve got a few runners at Salisbury tomorrow and our best chance there would probably be Anghaam in the Nursery at 1:55
