He was due to run at Leicester earlier in the week, but this looks a good opportunity for him, too. The trip and the testing ground will be fine, and he comes here on the back of a good, narrow second at Lingfield last time. He shouldn’t be far away once again if running to his best, and he has two good runs under his belt at this track.

He has been placed in the last two runnings of this race, only losing out by a short head a neck last year, and he is weighted to go well again. He ran a good race for me when second at Warwick last time and he has plenty going for him, even if ideally he would want a bit better ground. He loves this track.
