Sensulano

I rode her when she was second at Ffos Las on her reappearance in October, and she has obviously improved to win her last two starts over fences in taking fashion. This is obviously a lot tougher on her return to hurdles, but she is unpenalised, has won around here and she loves this ground. The trip is an unknown but the way she finishes off her races over shorter suggests that shouldn’t be a problem. I like her chances.

Aintree My Dream

He looks to have been running consistently well over hurdles, and his lighter weight is a bonus in this ground. He has won on heavy too, and he is actually on a very fair mark on his return to fences as well. I can see him going well.

He did it very well for me on his hurdling debut at Exeter and he has followed it up with a couple of good efforts in defeat, most recently in handicap company over 3m at Taunton last time. I think his proven stamina over further will come in very handy in these testing conditions, but he does need to improve to be winning this under a 6lb penalty.
