NEWBURY – SATURDAY

1.50pm

Now Look At Me

He has obviously been in very good form, just getting run out of it on both occasions. Unfortunately, he has gone up 6lb as a result but hopefully he will run his race again and have a decent each-way chance.

3.35pm

Post War

We haven’t seen him in a very long while but he certainly looked to have had plenty of ability back then and the soft ground will apparently suit him. Hopefully, a mark of 125 underestimates him on his chasing debut but he clearly has a big task on here after a near three-year absence.

DONCASTER – SUNDAY

2.45pm

Bob Mahler

Decent ground suits him well, as we saw when he won and Ludlow and Cheltenham last season, so hopefully the rain stays away and it remains good to soft at Doncaster. He ran much better at Haydock last time and he has come back down to an attractive mark, so he has his chance, for sure.
