She wasn’t seen out until Cheltenham last season and she clearly didn’t run up to her best either there or back at Cheltenham afterwards. But we know what a good horse she is at her best – as we saw with her victories in 2017 and her second to Laurina at the Festival two years ago – and she is a horse who goes well when fresh and in this ground. Plus, she won her Listed bumper around here, too. She obviously faces no easy task on her comeback, despite there being only five runners, but we are very happy with her going into the race.

He won very easily for us on his debut for the yard over course and distance back in November, and the handicapper certainly didn’t miss him by putting him up 12lb. This is a lot better and more competitive race and I doubt we will get as easy a lead as we did that day, but he clearly loves it around here with plenty of cut, and hopefully he can build on that win last time.
