He obviously handles plenty of give but his form has improved since he has encountered decent ground. He was a really willing partner for me when he won at Ascot last time and, although the handicapper probably did the maximum he could by putting him up 4lb for that ½-length win, I like to think he is still on a decent mark. It’s a very competitive handicap but he is a youngster on the up.
