No Paisley Park in this rescheduled Cleeve Hurdle, so little wonder we have got a good field of 11 runners. I just hope it stops raining for long enough to let the meeting go ahead. He has run three crackers since we reverted to hurdles with him after a fall over fences at Cheltenham in October, and he comes here after a career-best second off a mark of 143 at Chepstow last time. He handles very testing conditions, so he is bang in the mix here. It’s an open race.

He came to us after three starts in points and he ran a blinder when second at Wincanton on Boxing Day. I didn’t ride him there but it looked a fair race to me, and hopefully we have a decent one on our hands here.
