Wiseguy
He has very few miles on the clock for a 7yo, as he has had his problems, so we were obviously delighted with him when he won on his chasing debut at Exeter last month. He has gone up 6lb in the weights, which was perhaps on the harsh side, but we hope there is plenty more to come from him over fences. He has always promised to be a good horse.

City Chief
He was in the London National at the five-day stage last week but we decided to come here with him. Protektorat running means he has a nice racing weight of 10st 4lb and we were happy with him on his return here last month. He got eased 1lb for it too, so I think he is fairly weighted on his winning novice chase form earlier in the year.

Shanagh Bob
A winner of his only point, he did what was expected of him on his hurdling debut at Plumpton. He is into much deeper waters here but we believe this track and longer trip will suit him. We think he is decent but this is obviously a big step up for him.

Theatre Glory
She carries top weight here but she deserves a mark of 143 on what she did last season in good company. She returned to run a good third at Ascot and hopefully that will have sharpened her up. If the ground dries out, so much the better.
