The testing conditions will be in his favour and he also has an excellent record when fresh, so he certainly has his chance on his first run for a new stable. He stays really well too, so there is much to recommend him in an open race.

Fantastic Lady
Thankfully, the Grand Sefton has beaten the weather after a morning inspection on Friday, as I think Fantastic Lady has a leading chance. Ideally, we would want better ground for her but we know she goes well when fresh and she ran a great race for me when second in the Topham here in April. After that run, she probably ran to that level when third in the Oaksey Chase at Sandown and this has been the target for her for a while. The ground isn’t ideal, as I said, but we will give it a shot. She handles soft well enough.
