He finished runner-up in his sole point back in April and we picked him up at the sales the following month. We like what we have seen of him at home. His future lies over fences but he looks to have his fair share of speed, so we start him off over 2m here in a race in which we have had some success down the years. This does look a warm race, though, and Might I in particular could be a tough nit to crack after what we saw of him at Newton Abbot.

She is only a neck away from being unbeaten and I have a lot of time for this mare, who was very impressive for me under a penalty at Haydock on her final outing last season. That came over 3m but the step back down to 2m4f shouldn’t be a problem around here and hopefully a mark of 128 underplays her talent and potential, though it is probably only fair on what we have seen from her so far and I can’t wait to see this point winner over a fence. The more rain the better her chance.
