Kingston Pride
He has been off for a long time since winning his sole point in April 2023 but we like what we have seen of him at home. That point win has worked out well, too – the runner-up, The Enabler, has looked very good when winning his two bumpers this season – so hopefully he can give a good account of himself here in what looks a decent bumper.

Pawapuri
She was highly-tried last season and she has really blossomed this term, winning well when stepped up in trip at Haydock last time. She had earlier won well over this sort of distance at Wincanton, so she looks to hold a decent chance here. It looks a pretty hot mares’ novices’ hurdle, though.

Bold Endeavour
He ran another excellent race in defeat last time, probably too well if anything as he has gone up 2lb for it. But I’d be expecting another bold show nonetheless with conditions to suit.

Kintail
He faced a stiff task at Cheltenham last time and I thought he did okay, even though beaten a fair way. Up again in trip, and off a mark of 116, I think he has a fighting chance in a competitive handicap.
