No Ordinary Joe

I was suitably impressed with him when he won his bumper in the soft at Sandown last month. And I think it was a fair race, too. He meets a few good ones in here on his hurdling debut, with a smart level of form to their names, but we have been very happy with his work and schooling since his win and we hope for the best.

Allart

He was very impressive in winning his first two starts over hurdles before going to Cheltenham and finishing a good fifth in the Supreme, and the boss has been itching to get him over fences for a while. He jumps very well at home, and the ground will hopefully not be an issue. It’s clearly a tough introduction straight into a Grade 2 on his chase debut, against race-fit rivals too, but we like him.

Mucho Mas NON RUNNER

I can’t tell you anything about him, to be honest, as I haven’t sat on him at home. He has a nice pedigree but he will obviously have to be well above-average to be winning this, as it looks a very hot bumper, with all six of his rivals all coming here unpenalised on the back of a win. NON RUNNER
