Ferando
He’s a nicely bred son of a Westerner, and hopefully, he can give a good account of himself here, especially with the stable in such good form at the moment. I am sure everyone will mention we have won this race a lot in recent seasons with the likes of Jonbon, but let’s see what we can do in his own right. He is a fine, big horse, and this looks the right race for him. A lot of the focus in here will be on Regent’s Stroll, I imagine, as an unbeaten bumper horse who cost a lot of money back in July. I’d have thought that he would take a lot of beating.

Chantry House
He is 10 years old and has had his first start since a good run at Punchestown in May. We all know what a top-class chaser he was in his day, and he races here off a fair hurdles mark of 139, so let’s see what the course winner can do here off top weight.
