Cheltenham 16:00 – Rathmacknee
He showed us promise in three starts last season, having joined us after winning his point in the summer of 2021, but he took it up to another level when winning as he liked for me at Fakenham on good ground back in May. He went into that maiden hurdle rated 108 and he is off 124 here, in a much more competitive handicap, but they could have been even harsher on him I suppose. I would like to think he can still be in with every chance off his revised mark, for all it won’t be easy off top weight, as he is obviously lightly-raced and open to improvement. The ground looks like being decent too, so that’s another plus.
