He had an impressive campaign last season after nearly a year off the track. He only ran four times but he won first time up at Newbury before finishing second in the Coral Cup and then went on to run well in defeat at Aintree and Punchestown. He paid for those performances by going up a stone in the weights, which obviously makes life tough here, but the field has cut up to just seven runners, and hopefully he can run well on his return as a springboard for another good campaign.

He ran a lot better than it first appeared in the Topham last season, as he made a very bad mistake 2 out there. He had earlier run some good races in defeat and I think he is fairly handicapped off 132 here. And he is only six, too. I can see him going well, for all this is obviously a very competitive handicap.
