Haul Away
All his best form has come on a decent surface, so he could have probably done without the rain that fell earlier in the week. But hopefully it won’t ride too bad at all – and it is still mostly good at the time of speaking – and Haul Away certainly comes here in good form after four wins over the summer, two of which came over fences. Of course, those came at a cost and he is 5lb higher than for his hurdles win at Worcester last month, but hopefully his progression hasn’t stopped yet.

Swapped
He didn’t make the track on his intended debut at Huntingdon in the summer as he pulled some muscles beforehand, but he is obviously fine and well now. This is something of a baptism of fire for him as this looks a hot race, but he is a horse with his fair share of ability.
