2.20pm Cheltenham
Hyland
It was good news that Cheltenham didn’t get as much rain as expected in midweek, as the less that falls is better for him. Good ground is perfect, good to soft is fine, and he ran well enough on what was soft going at Kempton in February. He was obviously in great form here before Christmas, winning twice, and then went on to run a cracker when second to The Jukebox Man in the Kauto Star. Hopefully, he can be competitive here off his mark of 147, but maybe he needs to improve a touch again to win such a deep handicap as this, and this is his first run of the season, after all. But he goes here with a decent chance.
